On June 27th, 2026 — we’ll be hiking Mount Willard once again, in remembrance of what Fin’s 6th birthday.
Mt. Willard holds special meaning for our family. It’s a mountain we hiked together with Fin during his Make-A-Wish trip, shortly before his passing. It was a day filled with fresh air, awe, and joy — a reminder of Fin’s adventurous spirit and his love for being out in the world, despite everything he was carrying.
We'll be making the trek in rain or shine — though we’re hoping for a little more shine this time around. 🌞

PAST events
During the 2025 holiday season — we were honored to host our first 12 Days of Fin-mas Giving Event. Inspired by The 12 Days of Fin-mas—a song written just for Fin by his music therapist—more than 100 thoughtfully curated gifts were donated to children and families spending Christmas inpatient in the cardiac units at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Like the song itself, each gift reflected a piece of Fin’s joy, curiosity, and love of celebration—carrying forward the traditions we once brought into hospital rooms ourselves. While the holidays without Fin are never easy, sharing Fin magic with other families navigating long hospital stays is one way we continue his legacy: by creating moments of comfort, joy, and connection during an especially hard time.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who supported 12 Days of Fin-mas and helped make this possible. Your generosity turned remembrance into action, ensuring that Fin’s spirit reached families who needed it most.

On October 15th, 2025 — family, friends and local community members came together at Doctor’s Island Brewing Co. for our first Oktober Fini-Fest. It was an incredible evening, filled with laughs, live music, raffles, and fall fun — all in support of The Finian Summit Foundation. With every donation and every pour (including Finian Summit Stout!), we raised funds to provide direct financial support and moments of joy to patients and caregivers impacted by CHD.

On June 28th, 2025 — what would have been Fin’s 5th birthday — 30 friends and family members hiked Mt. Willard to honor his spirit and retrace the joy of his Make-A-Wish adventure. True to Fin’s story, the rain joined us — just as it had on so many of his big days, both happy and hard — reminding us he was right there with us on the trail. 🌧️Thanks to this incredible community, we raised enough to support 10–15 families navigating the challenges of CHD.
